The diary is a part I think every student tends to put to one side.  It then goes and creaps up on them later, when their exams are nearly completed.

For me personally I have in the past found to be a bit guilty.  I tended to update my diary later than I should have done. But I must stress I always did update it in the end

For those of you who have no idea what goes into a diary, because your just thinking about the ACCA Exams, let me proceed to explain.

 

As well as doing 14 Exams, you will also need to prepare and maintain a diary.  This diary needs a minimum of 3 years worth of relevant practical experience in a accounting background.

There are a number of areas which are broken down which you need to demonstate experience of.   Examples of these are Tax, Audit, management skills etc..

Some of these are compulsory, and you need about another 10 optional skills from the list.
